Title holders Ahly of Egypt have stayed away from this year's championship but the Kenyan representatives will have to be at their best, even without some key players to fight for the title
Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) representatives Kenya Prisons and Kenya Pipeline are front runners as fourteen clubs clash in the 2021 Women’s Club African Championship set for in Kelibia, Tunisia from April 19 to May 1, 2021.

Tunisia who double host both men and women editions will be on spot for all African volleyball family in thrilling days till the end of April.
In absence of the title holders Ahly of Egypt who have won ten titles, Pipeline and Prisons come as the best contenders being the champions in 6 and 5 occasions respectively.

CFC Carthage who won the title in 2017 are also one of best teams during the last few years being the finalists in the last 4 editions wining once and losing three finals in 2016, 2018 and 2018 to compatriots Ahly.
Kenya Prisons who are without eight of their key players, six of whom are in camp with the national team and two who could not travel with the squad due to a ministry directive, are looking to end their eight-year wait as they are the last Kenyan club to lift the title in 2013 after they beat GSP of Algeria in Madagascar.
The Wardresses, who will be coached by David Lugh'aho and Azenga Mavisi in the absence of Head coach Josp Barasa who is in camp with the national team Malkia Strikers, departed for Tunisia via Istanbul on Saturdays night for the tourney.
The team composition is a blend of experienced players and those making their maiden appearance in the African showpiece. Veteran player Brackcides Agala, KVF's back-to- back Most Valuable Player (MVP) will captain the side. Mavisi is confident his charges will bring back lost glory to Kenya.
