He says he could smell the drug during his second-round victory over French opponent Benjamin Bonzi
Nick Kyrgios asked the chair umpire at US Open to remind the crowd not to smoke in a match against French player Benjamin Bonzi in New York on Wednesday late night.
The Australian tennis star complained a spectator was smoking cannabis during the match. He said he could smell the drug and suggested chair umpire Jaume Campistol should warn the crowd inside the Louis Armstrong Stadium.

The 27-year-old asked if he wanted to "remind anyone not to do it or anything".
Speaking after the match, the Wimbledon runner-up said he was a "heavy asthmatic", adding that when he was "running side to side" and "struggling to breathe."
"So, marijuana was probably not something I want to be breathing in between points," he concluded.
Kyrgios won the match in four sets, 3-1.
