"Eight birdies in to make 66 is a bit of a surprise considering it felt like a bit of a struggle out there. To be fair, I couldn't seem to give myself a good number from the fairway and when you’re playing at altitude and, as hot as the ball is out here, sometimes it’s hard to get the club selection right. . After I unnecessarily bogeyed the 14th it was anyone's game,"
"I am just happy with the way I finished and gave myself a good chance with birdies at the last three holes of the day. I seem to be having a good game plan around here (Karen Country Club) and ultimately i am probably executing a bit more shots. I am hitting good off the tee, maybe not quite as good into the greens but i have bailed myself out severally with the putter. This morning looked like everyone was going bananas, it was a tricky day but my par save on the eighth was a bit of a booster. Missing the short one in seven and then making that to avoid a bogey was a big plus," said Harding after the round.
