The European Tour event is scheduled for next month.
Magical Kenya Open qualifying, the Safari Tour, enters its final leg on Saturday 11 February at Muthaiga Golf Club with the Pro-Am before a four-round competition to determine the Kenyan representatives to this years European Tour event.
A total of 10 players from the series, eight locals and two foreigners are guranteed of qualifying for this year's Magical Kenya Open 2023.
The top eight local players in Safari Tour's Order of Merit will gain automatic entry while the top two foreigners also get to play against a world-class field.
As golfers head to Muthaiga, last year’s second-place finisher Zimbabwe’s Robson Chinhoi, despite missing out on points in the just-concluded penultimate round at Karen Country Club headlines the standings with 200.5 points.
Muthaiga's Greg Snow leads the charge for the Kenyan slots, nine points behind Chinhoi and he, alongside Samuel Njoroge, Simon Ngige and Dismas Indiza who are in third, sixth and seventh have already booked their slots.
Visitor Mapwanya of Zimbabwe and Uganda's Ronald Rugumayo in fourth and fifth place are fighting for the foreigner's slot too.
