The match is slated for Saturday 25 February at Nyayo Handball Court
Martin Kamau is optimistic of guiding his charges Daystar Falcons to their second win of the Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) women's league this weekend.
The varsity side has only picked a win against school girls Rising Stars but that was a positive for the debutants who are eyeing three wins at the conclusion of the league.
Falcons play New Hope, a team they lost to by seven goals in the first leg but coach Kamau maintains that his charges are going for victory.
"This was the second match we played when we joined the league and alot was not working for us then.
The players have improved tremendously from that first weekend of action and we are in a different place. I am confident my players will fight for their second win. We ate taking it one match at a time and all the focus is on this competition," offered coach Kamau.
The Peter Mwathi-coached Nairobi-based deaf side, New Hope, on their part have won two of their 16 matches played and are on the hunt for a third.
"I plan to give a chance to the players that are not regular starters in this game so we can gauge how much growth they have had.
All my players are healthy and up for selection so I am not worried about squad depth. We will approach the match cautiously all the same," caoch Kamau added.
In other matches, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) are out to cause an upset when they take on National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB).
The varsity side, however, has their work cut out as they have only won seven of their 17 matches while the millers have only lost twice after 15 matches.
The third match of the day pits Rising Stars, who have only registered a single victory in 15 matches, against Nairobi City Council (NCC), ninth on the 12-team log with four wins.
