Former women's league champions Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) are set to face Prisons Kenya in the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Cup semis slated for 12 July, paving way for the final on the following day.
The Japeth Munala-led side finished third in the just-concluded league action, relinquishing the title to Kenya Pipeline and are using the Kenya Cup matches as part of their rebuilding process ahead of the new season.

The Bankers delivered a commanding performance as they swept aside Postbank by straight sets in a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-23) outcome in a match played on Saturday, 5 July.
"This is a big win for us not just for qualifying for the semis but serves to restore confidence in the squad as we work our way back to the top," the tactician offered.
On their part, Prisons Kenya dominated Kenya Army in straight sets as well, in a 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, and 25-15) show to book their spot.
Head coach Josp Barasa says this is his side's chance to salvage the season, having missed out on the podium in the league.
Meanwhile, league runners-up Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are also through to the last four and will be chasing a maiden title.
The Patrick Sang-coached DCI booked their slot after a hard-fought 3-1 win over Kenya Defense Forces (KDF), coming from a set down at 22-25 to take the next three in 25-23, 25-10, 25-15 for victory.
In the men's competition, league champions General Service Unit (GSU) advanced to the semifinals after overpowering Kenya Airports Police Unit (KAPU) 3-1 (28-26, 26-28, 25-15, 25-17) in an opening two set thriller before the latter crumbled in the third and fourth.
The league champions will be joined by KDF, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and Prisons Kenya in the fight for a final place.
Former league champions, Prisons, triumphed over Equity Bank, securing a straight-sets victory in a 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-23).
Meanwhile, KPA saw off Trailblazers in a 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-20) dominant show.
KDF, on their part, came from a set down to take a 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-20) victory against Administration Police.
