Hawks catch Pelicans, Dallas crush starless Orlando

Only two NBA games were played the previous night - Atlanta beat the Pelicans 126-111 in New Orleans and Dallas easily smashed Orlando at the American Airlines Center. The winner was resolved in the third quarter, which the Hawks won 35-26, entering the last period with an eight-point advantage.

Jalen Johnson led Quin Snyder's team with 29 points, while Atlanta's three-time all-star Trae Young noted a double-double, 23 points and 12 assists. On the other hand, Orlando had only four double-digit players, which was far from enough to hold out in Texas. The Wagner brothers, Franz and Moritz, noted 13 and 10 points, respectively.
