Nairobi Water Queens and NCPB men are the defending champions

Kenya will host this year's East and Central Africa Handball Federation (ECAHF) club championship from 2 to 9 December with 10 men's and 6 women's sides confirmed so far.

Kenya has four teams in the men's category in holders National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB), Black Mamba, General Service Unit (GSU), Equity Bank and Kenya Defence Forces' (KDF) Ulinzi, while the women's category has Nairobi Water, NCPB Ladies and KDF Sharks.

"We have a technical meeting set for Saturday 2 December which will finalise all the details with the pooling done on the same day. We first confirm that all registered teams are available during the meeting so we can make informed decisions on the draw," KHF Fixtures Secretary Charles Omondi explained.

Both NCPB and Nairobi Water are looking to retain the titles they won in the last edition held in Zanzibar.
