Reims' Jens Cajuste is close to a move to Italy
Napoli is actively exploring the possibility of signing Jens Cajuste and will reach out to Stade Reims immediately for the 23-year-old Swedish international.
This young lad has travelled around the world and played football everywhere he's been - and Italy is next.
Despite their pretty quiet transfer window, the Serie A holders have been working hard to secure their current players, negotiating new deals for the likes of Victor Osimhen and Piotr Zielinski. With the recent sale of Kim Min-Jae to Bayern Munich, Napoli have identified Kevin Danso from RC Lens as a potential replacement.
Perhaps even more crucially, new head coach Rudi Garcia is looking to add more options in midfield, where Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa will require some backup. Therefore, the Neapolitans have already initiated talks with Cajuste's representatives to determine their interest in a transfer to Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Stade Reims is open to selling Cajuste for the right price, and negotiations will commence shortly.

Cajuste, a defensive midfielder, has already demonstrated his abilities on the field with four goals and one assist in 33 appearances for the Ligue 1 club across all competitions.
The 15-time Blagult player had an unusual path so far. Born to a Haitian-American father and a Swedish mother, he spent much of his childhood in China - where he started playing football at football schools in Beijing. Moving back to Sweden, he made his professional bow at Orgryte in 2016. Two years later, he signed a long-term contract with ambitious Danish club Midtjylland and got his first taste of UEFA Champions League football.
Ligue 1 team Stade Reims paid over $10 million to capture the strong defender in January 2022. He's made several forward steps in his career and it looks like he might make another one pretty soon.
