And we know that 40-year-old man long enough to conclude there's absolutely no chance that he'll ignore it. On the contrary, Cristiano will probably look for revenge in tonight's return leg at the Jose Alvelade stadium in Lisbon (10.45 pm).
That can only motivate him and trigger his inner mentality monster, which could prove crucial for this two-legged tie. Denmark celebrated a 1-0 victory at the Parken Stadium, but this battle is far from over as Portugal are packed with at least half a dozen magicians along with the mentioned Ronaldo.
It will be interesting to see the atmosphere around Hojlund, who should expect quite a hostile reception, especially after doing that to the fans' national idol and hero. Even the fact that Hojlund's current Manchester United teammate, Bruno Fernandes, will be present on the pitch doesn't mean the Danish forward will be saved from the masses' reaction.
