Congolese forward joined the Dockers in 2017 from Sony Sugar

Bandari have parted ways with Congolese striker Yema Mwana on mutual consent with the forward eyeing greener pastures.

Though the forward had a year remaining to his initial contract with the dockers, the club announced that they decided to end their affiliation mutually as he is set for greener opportunities elsewhere.

"We have reached a mutual agreement with Guelord Mwamba also Known as Yema Mwana. He had one more year to run on his contract but following positive and constructive recent discussions with him and the club, he will be leaving for greener opportunities elsewhere. He has been an integral part of this team, we shall sincerely miss him, Everyone at Bandari wishes Yema and his family well for the future," Bandari wrote in the social media accounts.

The Congolese international joined Bandari from Sony Sugar, now Gusii United, in August 2017 and went ahead to make 72 appearances for the club during his stay.

In the 72 games, he managed to score 42 goals and set up a couple of others.

In the current campaign, he netted in three instances against Posta Rangers, Western Stima, and Kakamega Homeboyz.

He made nine starts, mostly in the opening half of the season but fell down the pecking order at Bandari with Andre Casa Mbungo using him sparingly since he took over the reign of the club in January.
