Leading the evening’s celebrations was prolific forward Joe Waithira, who was crowned the club's Most Valuable Player (MVP) after a sensational campaign that saw him emerge as both Murang'a Seal's leading scorer and the FKF Premier League's top marksman.
Waithira's remarkable tally of 19 goals proved instrumental in the club's season, with the striker consistently delivering decisive performances and unforgettable moments for the Black and Yellow faithful.
"Winning this award means a lot to me because it reflects the hard work of the entire team," said Waithira after receiving the accolade.
"Scoring 19 goals is something I'm very proud of, but none of it would have been possible without my teammates, coaches, and the fans who supported us throughout the season. This has been a special year and one I'll never forget."
The striker added that finishing as the league's top scorer was a dream come true.
"As a striker, you always want to contribute goals, but to finish as the top scorer in the league is beyond what I imagined at the start of the season. This award motivates me to keep pushing and help the club achieve even bigger things next season."
Midfielder Lucas Maina was recognised for his outstanding contributions throughout the campaign after being named the first runner-up in the MVP category.
The former Ulinzi Stars man’s consistency and influence in the middle of the park made him one of Murang'a Seal's most dependable performers over the course of the season.
Meanwhile, Telvin Maina received the Most Disciplined Player award following a campaign characterised by professionalism, commitment, and exemplary conduct both on and off the pitch.
Another player to earn recognition was Michael Macharia, who walked away with the Most Improved Player of the Season award. Macharia enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in Murang'a Seal colours, showing significant development and establishing himself as an important member of the squad.
Beyond the individual accolades, Murang’a Seal will look back on the 2025/26 campaign as a season of resilience and steady progress.
The club finished 11th in the FKF Premier League standings after collecting 41 points from 32 matches, registering 11 wins, eight draws and 13 defeats.
While inconsistency at different stages of the season prevented a push into the top half, Seal remained competitive throughout the campaign and produced several impressive performances against some of the league’s strongest sides.
Their tally of 38 goals scored and 41 conceded reflected a team that was often adventurous going forward, with Waithira’s goals proving crucial in securing valuable points across the season.
The awards gala served as a fitting conclusion to a memorable season for Murang'a Seal, with the club taking time to celebrate individual excellence while reflecting on a campaign filled with growth, determination, and lasting memories.
