The former AFC Leopards midfielder was trusted with a start as Rayon Sports scaled to the summit of the log following the 1-0 win over Bugesera FC in the Rwandan Premier League.

The lone goal of the game was scored at the stroke of the half time whistle through Andre Onana who turned one of the Bugesera defenders inside out before firing a low shot into the back of the net.

Rayon managed to hold on to the slender 1-0 lead up till the final whistle to reclaim top spot and now hold a two point advantage over AS Kigali.

Kigali is home to Kenyan duo of Lawrence Juma and Peter Odhiambo and are looking to win their maiden league title under the tutelage of former AFC Leopards coach Andre Casa Mbungo.

Ismael Gonzalez

The former Las Palmas midfielder was an unused substitute as his Sabadell side claimed a 1-0 win over Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the Spanish third tier.

Sabadell had a bright start to the game and only took 12 minutes to open the scoring through Pau Victor Delgado who netted his fourth goal of the season.

The Arlequinats fought to maintain their lead and claimed the three points to overwrite their four game winless streak.
