However, the club's vice-chairperson Francis Wasuna has come out to strongly deny that the burly forward has fled the club for good.
The administrator revealed that the club was planning to ship Silva back to the country once the Ministry of Sports and Health comes up with guidelines to facilitate the safe return of sporting activities.
The Ministry alongside that of Health were directed by President Uhuru Kenyatta to draft the protocols at the start of the month.
"The club will ensure he comes back at an appropriate time. Why would we facilitate his return yet the Ministry is yet to issue communication in regards to the resumption of Sports? Why would the club incur expenses in purchasing airfare for him yet he will not play considering that we are yet to hear from the Ministry? he posed.
At the same time, Wasuna also cleared the air on the future of their Burundian forward Jules Ulimwengu who is yet to fly back since March.
The former Rayon Sports forward was said to have capitalized on the March FIFA week to flee the club but in a recent interview, he insisted that he was at Gor to stay.
