Luckily, CHAN matches will be beamed across various channels with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) officially approving 44 channels, both subscription-based and Free To Air (FTA).
Those Pay TV will be able to watch matches on Azam TV, who also air FKF Premier League matches, beIN Sports, Canal+, and SuperSport, among others.
Kenyans have a reason to smile after the national broadcaster, the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), won the FTA rights.
Kenya will face DR Congo in the first Group A match today, Sunday, 3 August 2025, at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani, from 3 pm.
The match will not only serve as Harambee Stars' debut in the continental tourney but also the first time that the biennial tournament is held in Kenya.
Kenya is co-hosting alongside Uganda and Tanzania.
Tickets for the highly anticipated clash were sold out barely three days after they were put on sale, a testament to how eager fans are waiting for the match.
With stringent measures being put in place by CAF on accessibility to the stadium, fans who were unable to purchase tickets are urged to stay at home and watch the match through the various channels.
For those with tickets, accessing the stadium will be strictly through the gates indicated in the stadium, while seating arrangements will not necessarily be according to the seat number, as long as one is in the right section.
