The former Chelsea boss is apparently in negotiations to become the next England manager

Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is a contender for the England manager job, BILD journalist Christian Falk reports.

As per Falk, Tuchel is still negotiating for the position of Gareth Southgate's successor.

This comes less than 24 hours after the Three Lions, managed by interim boss Lee Carsley, lost 2-1 to Greece in the UEFA Nations League.

Tuchel has been linked with the England job before, but Southgate got the FA's trust at that moment.

The German tactician has also been linked with Manchester United amid Erik ten Hag's struggles at Old Trafford. He is looking for work after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season. As a manager, he has won the Champions League with Chelsea and several trophies at Paris Saint-Germain.
