What EPL night in Serie A! Cesc and Vieira meet again as Vardy makes a debut

Former Arsenal midfielders faced each other now as coaches of Como and Genoa, while Leicester City legend made his maiden Cremonese appearance
This was one strange Monday night in the Italian top division, with the scent of the good old English Premier League.
First, legendary Jamie Vardy made his Serie A debut for Cremonese in a goalless draw against Verona. The 38-year-old forward clocked a little more than 30 minutes, as he came on as a second-half substitute but failed to put his name on the scoreboard in the very first game in the Italian top tier.
A good hard fought point away from home. Im happy to have made my @USCremonese debut tonight and im looking forward to playing at home on Sunday

Un buon punto conquistato lottando duramente in trasferta. Sono felice di aver esordito e non vedo l’ora di giocare allo Zini domenica pic.twitter.com/SNtOnJTFw1
A few hours later, the other two famous EPL names - Arsenal legends Cesc Fabregas and Patrick Vieira - locked horns in the dugouts of Como and Genoa in the last match of this round.
Nico Paz put the hosts in front with an early belter before Caleb Ekuban levelled the score deep into the stoppage time for a pieceful draw in the clash of the once-Gunners midfielders.
Cesc Fabregas and Patrick Vieira were reunited on the touchline today as Como host Genoa in Serie A.

It was quite a romantic and nostalgic trip to the past when Fabregas and Vieira hugged each other by the sidelines ahead of the game. Thus, they reminded us of several memorable years back at mythical Highburry in the early 2000s.
