Their mum and dad must be overwhelmed with pride after such an achievement

Making your parents proud is always worth putting an extra effort. However, what brothers Sebastiano, Salvatore and Francesco Esposito did yesterday is definitely so unique and almost out of this world for its brilliance.

All three Esposito brothers scored in their respective Serie A and Serie B games on Sunday, adding five goals altogether to their family account.

Unlike his two younger brothers, the oldest one, Salvatore, 24, is not a forward but a defensive midfielder playing for Specia in the Serie B. Therefore, Salvatore's brace in Sunday's 5-0 trashing of Cittadella is an even more significant achievement than the one his brother Francesco Pio, 19, scored in the same game (that has been Francesco's eighth goal of the season).

Moreover, their brother Sebastiano, 22, also found the back of the net twice in the Serie A clash between his Empoli and Verona. His side triumphed 4-1 after Esposito opened the scoring with two goals in the span of just four minutes. That was his first brace in the Italian top division with the Empoli shirt.

All three of them are products of Inter Milan's youth system, with Francesco Pio and Salvatore still being under contract with the Nerazzurri, on loan at Spezia.

Bearing in mind that Spezia are third-placed in the Serie B table, there's a chance we could see all three of them in the top tier next season.

What a triumph for their mother and father, of course, who is also a former footballer. And you know what else? They have a daughter who is dating a Foggia player. They talk quite a lot about football during lunch, don't they...
