Wanjala still in course to achieve his long term dream
After fully recovering from Lymphoma cancer(non hogdkin lympoma) Jeremiah wanjala is looking for a club to chase his long term dream of returning to active football and probably don the Harambee Stars shirt.
Wanjala was diagnosed with the disease in April last year after months of unending stomach pains.

The former Kakamega Homeboyz was given a clean bill of health to return to the pitch by the medics in September last year.
Despite having a running contract with Nzoia Sugar, he was jettisoned from the squad on fears that his health would deteriorate. His contract with the sugar millers is set to expire in December.

The decision by the club to oust the former Posta Rangers man from the team saw him venture into coaching back with his boyhood club Lwakhupa FC.
However after assessing himself in the festive season tournaments in Mumias, Wanjala says he is fully fit to return to active football.
" I haven't taken any drug since September last year. The doctor cleared me to return to football even though Nzoia removed me from the squad. I am hoping that i will get a new club in the next transfer window and continue doing what i like most,"' he revealed
Wanjala who resorted to make a living in Ingotse village, Kakamega county opened up how life has been since falling sick. The 2017 September SJAK Player of the Month award recipient said he was struggling to make ends meet until well wishers came to his aid and bought him a motorbike. He says he looking for a job opportunity before the transfer window opens.

"I am currently farming back in the village even though my heart is on football. The motorbike given by wellwishers sometime back has always come in handy but i am looking for a job before the transfer window opens, " he added
Wanjala called on Nzoia to expedite the process of clearing his accrued salaries and allowances.
