Former Liverpool and Newcastle striker scores bicycle kick and incredible volley against Fulham, but both are disallowed due to offside

We've seen some crazy stuff over the years in English football, but none of it tops the last night's Andy Caroll's "achievement".

The former Liverpool and Newcastle striker scored two sensational goals for his Reading against Fulham in the EFL Championship tie. Moreover, he did it in a span of a minute, but both those belters were ruled out for offside.

But what's even more bizarre in this whole situation is that Reading eventually lost to Fulham. No, to be precise, they didn't lose - they were trashed, hammered and battered by Craven Cottage outfit 7-0.

The outcome could have been different if a referee had allowed Caroll's first-half brace at the moment when the visitors were only one goal up.

22.45: (1.40) WEST HAM (4.90) NORWICH (9.00)

The first was a charming bicycle kick, and the other was a sensational volley. Two insane goals worth a Puskas award nomination.

But Caroll's brace was nulled, unlike Aleksandar Mitrovic's and Harry Wilson's.

With this shameful home defeat, Reading have sunk to the 21st place, just three points aloft of safety.
