United's rise with Mbeumo's signature: Cameroonian is Red Devils' Player of the Month

The Old Trafford crew triumphed three times in as many games in October, while the ex-Brentford forward deserved the most credit for that, recording three goals and an assist

Man United seem to have woken up. Ruben Amorim has finally managed to find his crew's perfect form, and the Premier League table is showing the progress. The Red Devils are currently sixth and sit above the reigning champions Liverpool, the UCL sides Chelsea and Newcastle, and the UEL participant, Aston Villa.

In three games United played in October, they recorded as many wins, going on their longest winning streak since Amorim took over as manager. They scored eight goals and Bryan Mbeumo was responsible for half of them, so it's no wonder he's been named the club's Player of the Month.

The Cameroonian recorded three goals and an assist and led the Red Devils to wins against Sunderland, Liverpool, and Brighton. His assist for Mason Mount broke the deadlock against the Black Cats, while he did it himself in the derby against the Reds just two minutes into the game. Finally, a brace against the Seagulls was a cherry on top of Mbeumo's terrific month.

More importantly, the 26-year-old seems to have finally reached the level he had at Brentford and started building chemistry with his teammates from United's attack, specifically Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.

Today, Mbeumo will have the opportunity to continue his excellent performances from the beginning of November, as Amorim's crew will face Nottingham Forest on the road (18.00).
