Unbeaten record at stake when Gor Mahia face KCB in midweek FKFPL headline fixture
Reading Time: 2min | Wed. 23.10.24. | 08:03
A total of nine matches will be played on Wednesday in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League
The first midweek set of fixtures of the FKF Premier League take centre stage on Wednesday 23 October with Gor Mahia’s clash against KCB FC headlining the rest.
Gor Mahia vs KCB
An unbeaten record will be on the line when record league champions Gor Mahia welcome KCB to the Dandora Stadium.
Under the tutelage of Patrick Odhiambo, KCB have posted a blistering start to the season that leaves them top of the log with their only dropped points coming in the barren draw against Kariobangi Sharks.
Gor Mahia have been blowing teams away this season after thrashing Mathare United 4-0 and thumping Posta Rangers 3-0 and a win here will further thrust them up the log.
Tusker vs Ulinzi Stars
Just four games into the season and Ulinzi Stars look set for another relegation battle after failing to win a single game.
The 1 pm fixture at the Police Sacco Stadium will present Tusker with a chance to extend their unbeaten record to four with Charles Okere looking to steady his ship after a rocky start.
Murang’a Seal vs AFC Leopards
Murang’a Seal will be looking to register their first-ever league win over AFC Leopards when the two teams clash at St. Sebastian Park in a 4 pm kick-off.
Ingwe have posted a decent start to the season that leaves them fourth having only suffered a single defeat to Posta Rangers while Seal will be looking for their second win of the campaign.
Homeboyz vs City Stars
Both Kakamega Homeboyz and Nairobi City Stars will be looking for their maiden wins of the season at Mumias Sports Complex.
The poor run of form has already claimed Ken Kenyatta's job after Homeboyz sacked him while City Stars hover perilously close to the relegation zone.
Police vs Mathare United
Police possess a 100% record against Mathare United having never dropped points in this fixture that will be hosted at the Police Sacco Grounds from 4 pm.
Interestingly, Police are yet to win a game this season having picked up draws against Tusker and Ulinzi Stars.
