With the first leg on the homestretch the season and the title race continues to take shape with new entries even as some previous contenders continue to struggle to find their footing.
Ahead of today's match, Trinity Starlets are still at the top of the league table with 20 points, three more than second placed Ulinzi Starlets as defending champions Kenya Police Bullets complete the top three with 16 points.
At the other end of the table, it is a Nyanza affair with Kisumu All Starlets at the tail end with a single point and are joined in the relegation zone by Kisped Queens with four points as well as Homa Bay-based Gideon Starlets with eight points.
The Dandora clash will therefore be a battle of different ambitions, Ulinzi eying the title while Kisumu All Starlets are fighting to retain their league status.
Ulinzi head into the match on a great run of form, having won their last three matches against Kayole Starlets, Police Bullets and Gideon Starlets respectively.
With only three points separating them from the league leaders, coach Collins Ochieng considers the team’s title chances a reality.
The former Waterworks tactician said that his team has shown intent to fight for the title after their victory over Police in the Disciplined Forces Derby.

Should they register what would be a fourth consecutive win, the military outfit will shoot to the top of the table, at least before Trinity takes to the field on Sunday 21 December.
All Starlets on the other hand are low on confidence and are the only team in the league
Without a win this season, their latest woes were compounded by the 2-1 loss to Kisped Queens in the Kisumu Derby.
Nevertheless, the team can draw motivation from the desire to remain in the top tier to pull a shocker against Ulinzi.
