The regular league season concludes next weekend with the playoffs scheduled to kick off on June 19.

Women Premier League (WPL) debutants Ulinzi Starlets will fight to seal zone A's second-place finish when they take on Gaspo Women in one of three league games scheduled for Saturday June 5.

In the penultimate round of the WPL's regular season, three zone A teams, namely Thika Queens, Ulinzi and Gaspo have already secured their slots to the playoffs with Thika assured of first place.

Ulinzi,in addition to their mission of sealing second place, are out to revenge their first leg 2-1 loss to Gaspo Women.

A win for Gaspo would leave the race open until next weekend when the final regular season matches will be played.

"We are ready for the match and are determined to cement that second place this weekend as anything else would mean we fight to the last day. The players are well prepared and know the task ahead," said Ulinzi head coach Joseph Mwanza

The other zone A match will see Makolanders take on Kayole Starlets as the latter look to escape relegation.

Meanwhile, zone B will witness one clash as Trans Nzoia Falcons hold on to the hope of making it to the top three in the zone.

Falcons need to win their two remaining matches and hope that Nakuru West Queens and Kisumu All Starlets lose their respective matches to land the available third place slot to the playoffs set to begin on June 19.

Chris Amwayi's charges have a date with relegation bound Oserian Ladies as they host them in Kitale.

After the Oserian test, Falcons face holders and Zone B leaders Vihiga Queens.

"My focus for now is getting maximum points in our clash against Oserian. We picked a draw against Oserian on their own turf,in the first leg, and even though it might look like an easy fixture, we have to be fully focused. After our draw against Kisumu last weekend, we had to go back to the drawing board and ride on that energy for the comeback that helped us fight for a three-all draw to prepare for the Oserian match," said Amwayi.
