Nyangweo believes they still have a chance of winning this year's title.

Ulinzi Stars have shifted focus to the FKF Premier League after exiting th Domestic Cup in the Round of 16. The military outfit was bundled out of the Cup Competition on Sunday after going down 2-0 to Nairobi City Stars. Nicholas Kipkirui and Davis Agesa did the job for City Stars, capitalizing on two errors from skipper James Saruni.

The team has won all its two games since the league resumed and Coach Benjamin Nyangweso now says their focus has moved to get positive results in the remaining FKF Premier League matches.

"We now go back to our league assignments. We want to finish in a better position than where we are right now and that means putting cup woes behind us and focusing on what lies ahead of us. We have many matches left and we want to get as many positive results possible.," he said.

Despite being 14 points off the leaders, Tusker, Nyangweso believes his team can mount a serious title challenge.

"We have many matches left and anyone can finish in the top position, and so we cannot limit ourselves. We want to try and win as many games as possible and see where we end at the end of the season but we have to finish among the top teams.," he added.

The Military outfit currently sits 8th in the FKF Premier League table with 24 points after 18 rounds of league matches. Next for them is an away game against Bandari.

Ulinzi started the season badly, picking just three wins in 16 league outings. Since the league resumed, however, they have a 100% record something they will be hoping to cling on going forward.
