Thiago Motta's team was far from the desired form ahead of their maiden Champions League game, but after Tuesday night - those problems are a distant past.
Juventus brushed aside PSV Eindhoven in Turin 3-1 in a one-sided match, which was wrapped up in the span of just a few minutes in the middle of the first half.
After a shy start, which saw PSV coming close to scoring, the favourites kickstarted a perfect blitzkrieg. Young Kenan Yildiz made a spectacular solo run before firing it perfectly into the far corner in Alessandro Del Piero's style to break the deadlock in the 21st minute. At the age of just 19 years and 136 days, the Turkish talent has become the youngest player to score for Juventus in the UCL, surpassing Del Piero himself (20 years and 308 days against Dortmund on 13 September 1995).

Just six minutes later, following a well-executed team action, Weston McKennie scored from a tap-in to seal the outcome well before the half-time break.
The cherry on top of their flawless display was put by Nico Gonzales shortly after the interval, leaving pale visitors anything but hope of a possible comeback despite some decent attempts on various occasions. Saibari only managed to put it behind the Juve's keeper in the very last minute of the stoppage time, but it was all over by that time.
Juventus will face RB Leipzig in the second round of this new Champions League format.
