"Power Dynamos Football Club has facilitated for specialist treatment for club captain Ngwenya and Banda to help them recover from their injuries," read part of a statement from the club.

According to the club, the injured players who have missed the better part of the recently concluded season were accompanied by the team's doctor Womba Kadochi.

Ngwenya, who doubles up as the skipper of Aba Yellow got injured on March 5 in a test match against Young Power Dynamos at the Arthur Davies Stadium that was aimed at assessing their preparedness for a league game against Zanaco FC.

In July 2018, the club made entry to the Kenyan League and exited with Elvis Rupia who by then was contracted to Nzoia Sugar and was the leading scorer in the competition with 15 goals.

Nairobi City Stars club doctor Brian Odongo revealed that the hospital is head and shoulders above the rest in orthopedics and has a tendency of sending players to the facility for surgery.

"They have the best doctors who are quite experienced in treating injured players and operating them on. Without a second thought, I would recommend any player seeking specialized treatment to the facility," he said.

His sentiments were echoed by Kariobangi Sharks club doctor John Kemboi who revealed that the hospital has been operating injured players from the club for years.
