Reigning Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) champions Tusker FC beat Sofapaka 2-0 in a match played on Sunday afternoon at the Ruaraka Complex.
Former Wazito man Erick Otieno opened the scoring on nine minutes with Jackson Macharia doubling the lead four minutes to stoppahe time.
With the win, Tusker are now second on the log with 45 points from 22 matches, four points off log leaders Gor Mahia who also edged Kariobangi Sharks 2-0 in another league match played today.
