Tusker is in the ascendancy since their 2-1 defeat to Kakamega Homeboyz and are seeking to keep the momentum going to cut short the point gap between them and top placed Posta Rangers to two.
On the other hand, Sammy Okoth's charges are having one of the toughest welcome to the top tier with the club yet to record any victory since promotion to the big stage.
The Kisii based club are on a run of five matches without a win, further failing to keep a clean in all of their opening league encounters.
Maximum points for Robert Matano's Tusker will lift the twelve-time FKF Premier League champions to second on the log whereas a win for the Glamour Boys will bring them level on points with Kakamega Homeboyz.
The match starts at 3.00 PM
Kakamega Homeboyz vs FC Talanta
At the Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega Homeboyz will be welcoming the 'Kings of draws' FC Talanta.
Homeboyz approach the match buzzing to build on previous weekend's win against Bandari FC and register third win of the season.
Ken Kenyatta's Talanta drew their last match against Tusker and will be wrestling for a second win of the season since snatching an injury time winner over debutants Murang'a Seal in September.
A win will elevate them to the top five and will be a motivation especially playing away from home.
Out of the previous three encounters between the two sides, Homeboyz have dominated the fixture picking maximum points twice and the Communication Authority powered entity grabbing victory on one occasion. The clash has never ended in a stalemate.
Posta Rangers vs Nzoia Sugar
The match starts at 3.00 PM
Kasarani Annex will play host to the tie pitting league leaders Posta Rangers and the millers Nzoia Sugar FC.
Rangers, playing in familiar territories, will be seeking to continue with their trajectory rise this season and maintain their perfect start to the campaign.
The sugar men are looking to rise from their home blues that led to an injury time 1-0 loss at the hands of Murang'a Seal last weekend. The millers dropped to thirteenth on the log and will be looking to recover against John Kamau's Posta that are on a run of five matches without defeat.
George Odour's side , who have struggled defensively this season failing to keep clean sheet in six games in row, will miss the services of newly recruited goalkeeper Fredrick Munyendo who was stretched out injured the previous weekend.
Contrary to the current form, Nzoia boast of an incredible head to head record having won three of the last four encounters with the mailmen and one duel ending in a stalemate further lifting up the team’s morale of nicking a second win of the term.
The match starts at 3.00 PM.
