Fresh from lifting the Mozzart Bet Cup to secure Kenya's place in the CAF Confederation Cup, the Brewers say they are assembling a squad capable of challenging for both domestic and continental honours.
Head coach Julien Mette revealed that recruitment is already underway, with the club determined to return to the summit of Kenyan football after finishing fourth in the league last season.
Leading the club's transfer business is the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma from Remo Stars on a one-year deal.
The prolific forward arrives after finishing the Nigerian Premier League season with 14 goals and is expected to spearhead Tusker's attack in the upcoming campaign, which includes the CAF Confederation Cup and the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
The beer makers have also moved to retain the backbone of the squad by handing midfielder Fabian Adikiny and forward Ian Simiyu new two-year contracts, keeping both players at Ruaraka until 2028.
"We want to build a squad with the quality needed to compete for trophies. The recruitment process has already started, and we are bringing in players who can help us achieve our ambitions both locally and in Africa," said Mette.
"I did not come all the way from France as a tourist. I came here to coach and win trophies. That is our target next season, and we are going to make our fanbase and sponsors happy."
Club chairman Charles Gacheru echoed the coach's sentiments, confirming that more signings are on the way as Tusker seek to strengthen every department.
"We are serious in the business this time. The first recruit is striker Victor Chukwuemeka Mbaoma, who finished as the top scorer in the recently concluded Nigerian Premier League," said Gacheru.
"We are strengthening all the departments, and I am glad we have tied down Crispine Erambo and Fabian Adikiny. We are assembling both experienced and young players because the young ones are the future of this club."
The announcements were made during Tusker's end of season gala award on Thursday night, where the club recognised outstanding performers from the 2025/26 season.
Midfielder Adikiny capped an impressive debut season by winning the club's Most Valuable Player award.
The former Murang'a Seal midfielder featured in 30 league matches and five FKF Cup games, scoring once while playing a pivotal role in Tusker's cup-winning campaign.
"I worked hard on and off the pitch, and finally it has paid off. I want to thank my mother, who has always encouraged me. I also thank my teammates because without them I would not have achieved this," said Adikiny.
Eric Kapaito collected the top scorer award after finishing the season with six league goals and two more in the Mozzart Bet Cup, while Simiyu was named forward of the season following a sensational debut campaign.
