"Tusker FC has completed deadline day acquisitions of forwards Cliff Oruko and Ronny Otieno,” the post read.

Head coach Charles Okere expressed delight at landing the pair, highlighting the energy and versatility they will inject into the squad.

He particularly singled out Oruko’s ability to feature both as a winger and at left wing-back, providing the team with tactical flexibility.

"We are very pleased to have secured Cliff and Ronny before the close of the window. They are exciting, hungry players who bring the right attitude and quality to our squad. We believe they will quickly adapt to our system and make a big impact for us this season,” Okere stated.

“We have been looking to strengthen our wide areas and the two will bring in a lot of energy and competition. Cliff is a player who can also play as a left-back so that gives us additional cover and options,” he added.

Club Chief Executive Officer Sam Nzau echoed the coach’s sentiments, underlining the club’s ambition as they look to reclaim their dominance in Kenyan football.

"These signings are a clear statement of intent from the club. As Tusker FC, we are always looking to strengthen with players who can help us achieve our goals. We are confident Cliff and Ronny will wear the badge with pride and give their all for the team,” Nzau remarked.
