Tomiyasu and Palmer under serious doubt for the Arsenal vs Chelsea derby
Reading Time: 1min | Tue. 23.04.24. | 15:17
The Gunners ought to celebrate in the clash on Tuesday night (10 pm) to stay in the three-horse title race
Arsenal are about to face Chelsea on Tuesday night, knowing that a win will see them rise (at least temporarily) four points above Manchester City, who play on Thursday.
However, a draw or a defeat at the hands of the West London side could jeopardize and almost destroy the Gunners' title hopes.
Mikel Arteta's primary concern remains Takehiro Tomiyasu, who was left out of the squad, which beat Wolves over the weekend as a precaution.
Tomiyasu would rejoin the same back four that faced Bayern Munich in Germany last week. David Raya, Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes may also be joined by Timber when he's ready to return.

The Japanese international might be perfect for stopping the in-form Cole Palmer. However, there are concerns that he, too, might miss the game, having missed training through illness.
"We need to assess him tomorrow morning, but today I don't believe he can be involved," Mauricio Pochettino said on Monday. "Even if he is feeling better tomorrow, maybe he is not in a condition to play."
