Union Omaha set a record of the biggest ever margin in the USL League One Playoffs following the 6-1 evisceration of FC Tuscon to set up a final with Triumph SC.

Omaha had the perfect start to the game as they opened the scoring in the third minute when Evan Conway reacted quickly to tap in from close range after the ball hit the upright and fell kindly for him.

Conway was on hand to double Omaha’s lead a minute after the half-hour mark as he slotted the ball past the onrushing keeper from the left channel.

Tucson were reduced to 10 men a minute later when Maximiliano Schenfeld was sent for an early shower after he was sandwiched in Omaha’s celebrations and elbowed one of their players.

Omaha continued from where they left from in the second half as they extended their lead four minutes after the resumption of the closing half with Damia Viader getting his name on the scoresheet.

Devin Boyce notched in the fourth for Omaha in the 54th minute with a first-time volley from outside the box after Tuscon blocked a shot that resulted from a corner.

Tuscon got their consolation goal in the 63rd minute when Charlie Dennis got the better of Jacob Crull and drove into the box to fire in a curling effort.

Austin Panchot and Emir Alihodzic drilled the final nail in the Tuscon coffin to set up a final with Triumph who are the reigning champions.

Patino was on hand to bag his brace 10 minutes after the second half when he controlled a cross from Connor Maloney and fired it into the roof of the net.

San Antonio were cruising a grabbed their third of the game a minute after the hour mark when Nathan Uiliam Fogaca weaved through the Rio Grande defence to score.
