Timbe secures treble in Thailand as Anyembe seals Conference League place

Sunday marked a perfect day for Kenyan footballers plying their trade abroad as Ayub Timbe sealed a historic treble with Buriram United while Daniel Anyembe’s Viborg FF secured a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Kenyan right back lasted the entire 120 minutes as his Viborg FF side edged Aalborg 1-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regular time to secure a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
