This guy will play FOREVER: Buffon wins trophies with Enrico Chiesa and his son

The years did not bother Gianluigi Buffon to reach a new trophy with Juventus and thus triumphantly say goodbye to the Old Lady's jersey. And the best proof of the longevity of this 43-year-old is the fact that out of six Italian Cup’s he has in his career, two of them were won with the famous Enrique Chiesa, and his son Federico!

After Wednesday’s win over Atalanta 2-1, Buffon reached the sixth trophy in the Italian Cup and thus equaled the record of Roberto Mancini. He won his first title in Parma in the 1998/1999 season, and later five pieces playing for Juventus.

When he won his first title, his teammate in May 1999 was Enrique Chiesa, who at that time had a son, a baby named Federico, a little less than two years old. Now, the same Federico, together with Buffon, reached the Italian Cup trophy, and even scored goal in a 2-1 victory.

How long did the reign of Gigi Buffon last? The born winner "had to" leave Juve with the trophy in his hand. And another interesting fact: Juventus has not lost a single match with Buffon on the field this season. Out of 14 matches, he won 12 and drew two.

"My future is clear and defined. This beautiful and very long experience with Juventus will come to a definitive end this year. I feel I gave everything for Juve. I have received everything and more than this cannot be done. We have reached the end of a cycle and it’s right for one to remove the disturbance" announced Buffon just 10 days ago.
