They're only humans after all - Bayern concede two, but still win

It could have been devastating afternoon for the Bavarians, but they prevailed against Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena (3-2)

Mixed feelings - both pleasure and worry - at Munich ahead of Der Klassiker (the derby between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund), which could solve the question of the new Bundesliga champion!

Bayern did their job this Saturday afternoon against Eintracht Frankfurt (3-2) as expected, albeit with a little difficulty in the end, as they conceded two late goals.

However, if there's anything that should worry Vincent Kompany, then it's Alphonso Davies' potential injury. The Canadian was in obvious pain in the opening minutes of the second half, prompting a substitution shortly afterwards.

It is not yet known whether it is a preventive measure or something serious, but it certainly spoils the atmosphere at the Allianz Arena ahead of the important clash with Dortmund, before entering the key part of the season.

We saw an interesting game, especially in the last half hour, when Albert Riera's team showed character and struck twice to restore the drama right up to the last seconds.

Bayern fell asleep in the last twenty minutes against Eintracht and it could have cost them dearly. Until then, with Harry Kane's brace (43 goals this season so far in all competitions) and Aleksandar Pavlovic's opener, the Bavarians were comfortably in front, but then...

First, Eintracht reduced the gap from the spot, before Kalimuendo capitalised on Munich's reckless defensive behaviour and Frankfurt's impressive pressing up front, which resulted in their second goal, four minutes from time.

Alas, the visitors lacked that final push, although Mario Goetze did have a promising goal-scoring opportunity deep in the stoppage time, but it went wide above the crossbar.
