Former Man United and Juventus players each scored in Marseille's vital triumph over Olympique Lyon - 3-2

For 50 minutes, it looked like the dullest game ever, and then in the remaining 40 minutes, the crowd could enjoy fireworks and see as many as five goals! In the end, the derby between the two Olympiques, Marseille and Lyon, met the expectations, though Roberto De Zerbi's squad was much more satisfied with the final outcome, as they won 3-2, while Paulo Fonseca debuted on Lyon's bench with a defeat.

Still, the Portuguese's crew managed to break the deadlock first, as the combination Rayan Cherki-Corentin Tolisso brought Lyon the lead in the 53rd minute, with former Bayern Munich midfielder being the executor. Yet, the visitors' joy lasted for only eight minutes, as Mason Greenwood and Adrien Rabiot decided to take matters into their own hands and organize a "blitzkrieg."

The Englishman netted the leveller in the 61st and the Frenchman completed OM's comeback only three minutes later, bringing immense joy to the crowd at Velodrome. Yet, Fonseca's men weren't disheartened. On the contrary, they fought back and equalized in the 72nd minute over Alexandre Lacazette, who was impeccable from the spot.

And when the share of the spoils was on the horizon, Luis Henrique appeared five minutes before the end and scored the winner for Marseille! Lyon didn't have enough strength to return another time and were defeated. With this triumph, De Zerbi's crew took over the second Ligue 1 place, while Lyon are currently seventh.
