Belgian journalists question Leandro Trossard's ability to help the national team without playing for his club

Belgian forward Leandro Trossard has discussed his limited playing time with Arsenal this season, expressing that he is not overly concerned, given the length of the season.

Trossard joined Arsenal during the January transfer window, making the move from Brighton & Hove Albion for a fee of around $33 million. Since his arrival, the Belgian international has scored two goals and provided an impressive ten assists for the team in all competitions for Mikel Arteta's side.

However, in the current season, he has found playing time hard to come by, amassing a mere 62 minutes of action in Arsenal's first four Premier League matches. When asked about his limited role, the 28-year-old told Het Laatste Nieuws he wasn't worried about the lack of playing time.

The Belgian national team is facing a period of transition. With the legendary Eden Hazard out of the picture and Kevin De Bruyne's increasing injury woes, it's necessary to build a new core of the side. After Roberto Martinez's departure following the abysmal campaign in Qatar late last year, new coach Domenico Tedesco has taken on the task. Trossard should be one of the standout players - but playing at the club level would be welcome.
