If Juventus fails to qualify for the Champions League, Ronaldo will probably leave Turin
Three weeks (and three) games have gone since Cristiano Ronaldo has scored for Juventus. And while any striker in the world can be in a bad form sometimes, the performances of the Portuguese in general has been worrying. OK, we are not talking about assist or anything like that (Ronaldo always wants to score by himself), but the body language, the presence on the field, standing in the wall during free-kicks, everything is wrong at the moment.
What the heck is #Ronaldo doing?

Can someone please explain ???????????????????? pic.twitter.com/X9SN8cUxhq
The Italian press, off course is all over him. "The team are disjointed, without a style, without a soul, and Cristiano is like a ghost on the pitch," wrote Corriere della Sera, adding that the ex-Real Madrid forward looks "almost disinterested in the game". But the concern for Cristiano goes beyond one publication, as La Gazzetta Dello Sport asked: "Cristiano, are you there?"
Juventus really need Ronaldo now, the Old Lady is on a brink of the Champions League disaster. Andrea Pirlo’s men are not only out of the title race (it happened long time ago), but they are fighting for the fourth spot, which leads to the Champions League next season. Juventus still has to play Udinese, AC Milan, Sassuolo, Inter Milan and Bologna until the end of the season. If the Old Lady fails to qualify, it would almost certainly mean the end of Ronaldo era in Turin.
The ex Manchester Utd and Real Madrid forward has won five Champions League trophies, and want’s another one before he retires, and UEFA League is just not good for him. On the other hand, his contract runs out in 2022, and it’s worth over 4.000.000.000 KSh, too much for a team playing Europa League. So, if the unthinkable happens, Ronaldo (and many others) will be sold.
The Portuguese is eying PSG or Manchester United as a possible destinations, according to Tuttosport. It would be his fourth country, and he would have a chance to play with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. But, the Italian media don’t have any information how PSG name came up. The Parisian will spend a huge amount for Neymar and Mbappe contracts (is Mbappe decides to stay) and certainly won’t give a huge amount of money for a 36-year old player, even if his name is Ronaldo. The same applied for Manchester United, who have big decisions to make regarding new Paul Pogba contract and a possible purchase of Erling Haaland.
