That's not enough! United struggle to a measly home draw against the wily Foxes

Manchester United are going to improve significantly if they are to secure a place in next season's edition of the UEFA Champions League after another unsatisfactory display earns them only a point against Leicester City.

After a rather boring opening 45 minutes, Kelechi Iheanacho scored a well-taken diving header when he met James Maddison left-wing cross and put it beyond De Gea who could only get a slight touch on it.

The opener for the Foxes and ignited a previously slow match, but Fred levelled just a few minutes later to set up an exciting half-hour period at the tail end of the game.

James Maddison thought he restored the visitors' lead but his strike was ruled out by the video assistant referee.

Although United were doing everything to scrape a winning goal, it was their trusty goalkeeper David De Gea who'd kept them in the game with a couple of breathtaking stops.

Without Cristiano Ronaldo, United barely threatened and the result leaves them three points off the top four. Arsenal, in fourth, have two games in hand on United.
