Tanzania Women Premier League matches to be broadcast on FIFA+

The match pitting Simba Queens versus Ceasiaa Queens game that's set to be played on Tuesday will be the first TWPL match on FIFA+
Tanzania Women's Premier League matches will be beamed live on FIFA's digital platform, FIFA+. the Tanzania Football Federation has confirmed.
The arrangement will see a huge number of Kenyan players plying their trade in Tanzania with different clubs in the women's league get exposure at a global platform.

On Tuesday, the match pitting Simba Queens and Ceasiaa Queens will be the first match to be broadcast live on the platform in the league. Simba Queens is home to goalkeeper Carolyne Rufa, defender Ruth Ingosi, midfielder Vivia Corazone Aquino, and attackers Jentrix Shikangwa and Topister Situma.
"Some of the matches in the Serengeti Lite Women Premier League (SWPL) will be streamed live via FIFA's digital platform FIFA+ starting on February 14, 2023. Download FIFA+ or log into FIFA's website to watch the matches at no charge," a statement by the Federation read.
On top of the women's top tier, the men's second-tier league, the Tanzania Championship League will also see some of the matches beamed live on the same platform.
On Sunday, the barren draw between JKT Tanzania and Keita Gold was broadcast on the platform.

In a statement then, FIFA said that the platform will provide access to live football matches from every corner of the world, interactive games, news, tournament information, ground-breaking, unrivaled video content delivering truly global storytelling around the men’s and women’s game, and much more.

The platform aims to provide thousands of live and archived games as well as news, analysis, and information for tournaments around the world together with original series and documentaries from and about the biggest names in the beautiful game.
