Jairo was stretchered off in their epic win over Tusker.
Football Kenya Federation Premier League debutants FC Talanta will miss the services of their winger Michael Jairo when they face Bandari this Sunday at the Mbaraki Stadium. The flanker was concussed in their 2-1 win over Tusker on Wednesday at the Ruaraka grounds and was consequently stretchered off for medication.
Initially, the Kariobangi Sharks Youth product was thought to headed for some weeks on the treatment table owing to the nature of the injury but Talanta team manager David Chweya has come out to disclose that he will only miss the trip to Bandari.
“He will be unavailable for the Bandari match as the doctor recommended him to proceed for some rest. He is scheduled to join the rest in training next week and hopefully he will pass the fitness test before we play Ulinzi Stars,” he said.
Scary incident happened here at the Ruaraka grounds. Talanta player, Jairo Michael, had first aid administered to him on the pitch after a collusion with a Tusker player.

Luckily he's responded positively and was stretchered off the pitch.
Prior to the unfortunate incident, Jairo was a thorn in the flesh of Tusker left back Hillary Wandera courtesy of his terrific runs and dribbling skills and his absence is certainly a blow to coach Ken Kenyatta who will be seeking to keep his unbeaten run.

Kenyatta who guided the team to the top flight has guided the club to garner eight points out of a possible twelve and will be hoping to put Bandari to the sword and move to the top three bracket. The opened the season with a one all draw against Wazito before recording a similar score line against KCB.
