Tah promises 'no mercy' for a friend

As many as seven Nerazzurri players have represented Bundesliga sides, even Bayer themselves, as Calhanoglu played at Lever alongside Tah, who said, "Afterwards we can be friends again."
In one of the derbies of the sixth Champions League round, Bayer Leverkusen await Inter Milan, aiming to catch up with the Nerazzuri, who are currently three points ahead. Yet, Xabi Alonso's crew will be up for a pretty challenging task, especially since numerous Inter's players know what it looks like to face a Bundesliga side.
Namely, as many as seven players in Simone Inzaghi's squad have represented clubs from Germany at some point during their careers: Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Dortmund), Yann Aurel Bisseck (Koln), Josep Martinez (RB Leipzig), Yann Sommer (Bayern Munich, Monchengladbach), Marcus Thuram (Monchengladbach), Benjamin Pavard (Stuttgart, Bayern Munich), and Hakan Calhanoglu (Karlsruher, HSV, Leverkusen).

Only two members of Lever's current squad were teammates with the Turk - the third custodian, Niklas Lomb and the vice-captain, Jonathan Tah. Yet, the robust defender promises "no mercy" for his friend, although they played together at the German Hamburger SV as well.
"I'm waiting until he's here. He shouldn't think too much about us. Afterwards we can be friends again," Tah said, as per Kicker.
