Western Stima midfielder Rodgers Ouma is elated after sealing his dream move to the reigning league champions Tusker FC.

The attacking midfielder has joined the Brewers on a long-term deal and becomes the latest player to join the fast-rebuilding league champions who are hoping to defend the league title next season.

“I want to thank God for giving me this football talent bringing me this far. I have joined the team that I always wanted to play for and now it is a matter of me working hard to first earn the place in the team and then win titles with the team,” he stated.

The player went on to thank Stima for handing him a top-flight opportunity and wished the now relegated team all the best.

“I will forever be grateful to Stima because they gave me a chance straight from school. Not many teams trust young players but they believed in me, gave me a chance and as I move I want to thank them and I wish the team I will. I also pray that they return to the FKF Premier League soon so that they can give opportunities to other emerging players from Kisumu and the country in general,” he added.

The player had earlier expressed interest in joining the Brewers, a club he termed as his dream team.
