Stima Club tripple-header highlights WPL round 12

A total of eight matches are lined up in the Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League Round 12 action that will take place on Saturday and Sunday across the country.

One match will be played on Saturday with three being played on Sunday for each zone.

For Thika Queens, this will be a crucial round as a win against Kayole Starlets at Stima Club on Sunday will see them crowned champions in Zone A.

The Zone A league leaders have had a perfect season, winning all their matches to collect maximum points.

Ulinzi Starlets occupy the second spot in Zone A, nine points adrift the league leaders, and will square it out against Makolanders in the only game played on Saturday in Zone A.

In Zone B, there will be a clash of the titans as league leaders Vihiga Queens will host third-placed Nakuru West Queens at Mumias Sports Complex on Sunday.

Just like their counterparts at the top of the table in Zone A, Vihiga Queens have not lost a league match this season and are at the summit with 31 points, having won 10 and drawn once.

Wadadia are second in Zone B with 22 points, nine off the league leaders as it is with Ulinzi Starlets in Zone A.
