The Gunners are considering the option of signing Sterling, while the Englishman would even accept a reduced salary because he'd get no playing time at Chelsea
Several wingers have been linked to Arsenal during this transfer window. At first, there was Leroy Sane, based on his and Mikel Arteta's acquaintance from Man City. Yesterday, Kingsley Coman, and today, Raheem Sterling! The 29-year-old has reportedly been offered to the Gunners, and now the management at Emirates Stadium is considering whether it is worth sending a bid for the Englishman.

The possibility of Raheem Sterling joining Arsenal is alive. ✅
It’s not advanced, as it stands, but club working out internally if they want to go for it and what formula they’d like to go with.

The eventual departure would satisfy both Sterling and Chelsea. Namely, if he stays, the Blues would still have to deal with his vast contract, while Enzo Maresca made it clear that he didn't count on the winger. Hence, a former Man City and Liverpool player is willing to accept a salary reduction, only to leave Stamford Bridge. At Chelsea, Sterling earns 385.000 euros per week, which is 20 million euros annually.
Considering the Blues' numerous reinforcements and many young wingers, Maresca crossed Sterling out of the squad ahead of the Premier League premiere against the Cityzens. Three days ago, Man United were reportedly close to bringing in the England international, making him the first ever player to wear the Red Devils, Chelsea, Man City, and Liverpool jerseys. However, now another possibility has opened up for Sterling, personified in Arsenal, which could become another English giant in his resume.
