The second-half strike by the former Kakamega Homeboyz man was his fourth in all competitions for the Zambian side
Harambee Stars striker Moses Shumah was once again on the scoresheet for Zambian club, Power Dynamos, as they sealed a place in the group stages of the CAF Champions League by holding Vipers 1-1 at home.
The result saw Dynamos round off a 3-2 aggregate victory in the second preliminary round.

Shumah, who scored in the reverse tie in Kitende, Uganda, came off the bench to deliver the winning touch for Aba Yellow in the second half of a close affair at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
The former Kakamega Homeboyz man, in as a replacement for Eddie Ankobo at halftime, took full advantage of a rebound inside the box to fire in the opener into the top corner in the 68th minute.
The goal, which was Shumah’s fourth for the Zambian outfit and on the country’s Independence Day, came as a welcome delight for the nervous home crowd, who had seen their side suffer under Vipers’ pressure for the better part of the game.
The visitors, once down, responded with urgency, and were rewarded in the 80th minute as Abdul Karim Watambala levelled on the day to set up a tense finish, which ultimately proved too far for Vipers and former AFC Leopards head coach Ivan Minnaert.
The aggregate win for Dynamos will now see Kenya have a representative in the CAF Champions League group stages, and mark yet another big leap for budding striker Shumah.
The side will get to know their group opponents on Monday, 3 November when the Group Stage Draw for the CAF Champions League takes place.
Sichenje M.I.A.
Elsewhere in Serbia, Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje was missing in action for his side Vojvodina as it secured a 4-1 win over Napredak in the Mozzart Bet Super Liga on Friday.
Sichenje, 22, was out on suspension, following his sending off in the club’s last match against Radnicki 1923 on Saturday, 18 October.
The Kenyan was booked twice in the 61st and 83rd minutes of the 4-1 win, meaning he sat out on the latest team win, which pushed them to third on the Serbian top-tier standings.
