Ouma was involved for 89 minutes in the fixture, before being stretched off with a knock

Harambee Stars defender Eric Ouma was in action on Sunday evening as his side, AIK, finished the season on a high, beating Varnamo 3-1 in the final Swedish game of the season staged at Friends Stadium.

The left-back was involved for 89 minutes in the fixture before being stretched off with a knock, with Swedish Alex Bjornström taking his place.

Cyprus international Ioannis Pitta scored a first-half hattrick to bag maximum points for the six-time Allsvenskan champions, while Gustav Engvall netted a consolation for the visitors.

The win propelled AIK to an eleventh-place finish.

Elsewhere in South Africa, Brian Mandela was introduced in the 89th minute for striker Peter Shalulile as Mamelodi Sundowns cruised to the inaugural African Football League title after a 2-0 second-leg victory over Wydad Casablanca sealed a 3-2 aggregate triumph at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

Sundowns went into the home leg trailing 2-1 but turned the tie around thanks to goals from Shalulile and Aubrey Modiba to bag $4,000,000 in prize money.

Mandela’s compatriot referee, Peter Waweru was in charge of the Video Assistant Refereeing (VAR) during the finals.

In Norway's First Division, Harambee Stars striker Alfred Scriven played the entire 90 minutes as his side Hodd played out a barren draw against Ranheim on Sunday evening in a match held at the Extra Arena.

The draw extended Hodd's unbeaten run in the league to four games and placed them fourteenth on the league standings, one point clear of the automatic relegation slot, though they settled in the relegation playoffs position.

The 25-year-old is expected to link up with the National Harambee Stars ahead of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Gabon and the Seychelles.
