Michael Olunga in Qatar

Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga kick-started his Qatar Stars League campaign on a high, scoring a brace as his side run riot over Al Khor to go top of the table.

Al Khor took an early lead in the fourth minute, with Olunga leveling the scores 30 minutes later to go into the break level.

Al Duhail activated their beast mode in the second half with Ismaeel Mohammad scoring just five minutes on restart.

Olunga scored the third from the penalty spot in the 68th minute with Khaled Mohammed scoring the fourth at the death.

Johanna Omolo in Turkey

After a lengthy wait, Johanna Omolo finally made his debut as his team Kocaelispor fell 2-0 in the hands of Boluspor in their fourth league match

The former Cercle Brugge midfielder featured for 74 minutes before being replaced for Diogo Coelho and was booked in his first appearance for his new club.

First half goals from Bertu Alican Özyürek and Kabongo Kassongo condemned Kocaelispor to their second defeat of the season as Kocaelispor failed to stage a comeback.

Joseph Okumu in Belgium

Joseph Okumu featured full minutes as KAA Gent lost to 10-man RC Sporting Charleroi 3-2 to remain rooted in the bottom half of the log after six games.

Gent fought from 2-0 down in the first half and were on course to collecting a point but an Andreas Hanche-Olsen own goal in the added minutes of stoppage time gifted Charleroi all the points.

Ali Gholizadeh opened the scoring early in the first half before Mamadou Fall doubled the lead, with Alessio Castro-Montes drawing one back in the first half before Laurent Depoitre leveled the scores in the 63rd minute.

Gholizadeh was sent off in the 43 minute for a second bookable offense, just five minutes after he was shown the first yellow card.

Anthony Akumu in South Africa

In South Africa, Anthony Akumu was an unused substitute as Kaizer Chiefs suffered their first league defeat this season against Mamelodi Sundowns, going down 2-0.

Grant Kekana scored Sundowns' first goal in the eighth minute with Peter Shalulile doubling the advantage in the 63rd minute.

Chiefs had the chance to draw one back with nine minutes left in regular time from the spot but substitute Lebogang Manyama hit the crossbar with his effort.
