Ng'ang'a featured for 90 minutes while Ochieng came on for the final five minutes.
Dennis Ng'ang'a and John Ochieng made their debuts for Zanaco as they played out a one-all draw with Forest Rangers in a league match played on Saturday afternoon.
The two players left Gor Mahia for Zanaco after the conclusion of the 2022–23 FKF Premier League season. Ng'ang'a joined the team in July, while Ochieng was drafted just over a week ago.
On Saturday, Ng'ang'a was named in the starting XI, while Ochieng was introduced as a substitute five minutes from time for the injured Dominic Kanda. The game ended in a one-all draw.
Quadri Kola gave Forest Rangers the lead in the 59th minute from the penalty spot before Isaac Shamujompa headed home an 88th-minute equalizer to earn the hosts a point.
Next for Zanaco is a home game against MUZA FC on Wednesday, August 30th.
Elsewhere in England, Clarke Oduor was left out of the match day squad as his club Bradford City picked a 1-0 win over Crewe Alexandria. Jamie Walker scored the all-important goal of the game.
The club did not give details as to why Oduor, who has been a starter in recent weeks missed out.
"Jamie Walker returns to the starting line-up after his ankle injury, replacing Clarke Oduor, while Kevin McDonald makes his first start in claret and amber. Lewis Richards, who made his debut at Morecambe last week, will join McDonald in making his first start in BD8 this afternoon. Bobby Pointon is again among the substitutes bench, having made his professional debut last weekend, and could make his first appearance at the University of Bradford Stadium this afternoon," read the statement from the club.
